Lawton, Oklahoma , which was first settled by means of land lottery, has become a thriving community today. Much of the town of Lawton's growth came with the establishment of the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill. Throughout the years Lawton and Fort Sill have become one of the finest military communities in the country. During the reunion you will have an opportunity to tour the renowned Fort Sill Base, Museum, & Missile Walk. You will also experience Oklahoma in its natural setting with a visit to Medicine Park and the Wildlife Refuge in the heart of the Wichita Mountains, including incredible views from the top of Mount Scott. Best of all you will have the chance to see old friends and make some new ones, as 400 Men of the 3rd Btn.18th Artillery have just returned from Iraq!

Our reunion officially runs from Wednesday September 15th through Saturday September 18th . Room rates are good for 3 days before and 3 days after the official reunion program dates, based on availability. We will be staying at the Lawton Hotel & Convention Center (soon to be the Best Western Hotel & Convention Center) located at 1125 E. Gore Blvd., Lawton, OK 73501. For those of you driving to the reunion there is plenty of free parking for hotel guests. The nearest airport is Lawton (LAW). There is a free airport shuttle to the hotel - call from the baggage claim area for a pick up.

The Lawton Hotel & Convention Center (Best Western) is located close to all of Lawton's main attractions including many restaurants, shops and the Lawton Casino. The hotel also offers a full service restaurant, lounge, room service, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool, and lit tennis courts. The room rate is just $65, plus tax, per night .
